The front gate opens at 5:30 PM.
Live Music starts at 5:45 PM
BBQ starts at 6:00 PM.

Find Us
The Romick Rodeo Arena is located just a couple of blocks from downtown at 5th Street and Howelsen Parkway in the Howelsen Hill sports complex. There is parking on the rodeo grounds and nearby. If you want to avoid the crowd after the rodeo ends, park downtown and walk to the rodeo arena.
Need to Know – Before You Go
Tickets & Seating
- Tickets are non-refundable
- Seating includes: GA Covered Grandstands, GA Uncovered Seating, and Gold Buckle
- GA seating is first come, first served, so arrive early for the best spots
- Covered Grandstand tickets are the same price for adults and kids ages 7+
- Kids 6 and under are free in GA seating unless seated in Gold Buckle
- Lap children (around age 3 and under) are welcome
- Groups of 5 or more should arrive early to sit together
- All seats have a great view, but prime GA spots fill up fast, so plan to arrive by 6:30–7:00 PM
Arrival & timing
- Gates open at 5:30 PM
- Come early to grab food, look around, and get settled before the rodeo starts
- The rodeo runs about two hours, sometimes a little longer depending on the night
Accessibility
- Handicap parking and seating are available
- Ask front gate staff for assistance when you arrive
Children
- This is a kid-friendly rodeo with events they can participate in as well!
- We have play areas to enjoy
- No sitting on fences or entering contestant-only areas: next to arena, stall area, camping, etc…
- Parents/guardians are responsible for their children; attend at your own risk.
What to Expect
- We rodeo rain or shine, no exceptions
- If you’re in uncovered seating, you’re part of the weather too, so dress for it
- Evenings can cool down quickly, especially earlier in the season
- Bring a jacket or blanket, you’ll be glad you did
- We have sidewalks… but we also have dirt paths too. Dirt + Rain = Mud. You do the math.
What You Can Bring
- Water Bottles, Diaper bags/formula
- Blankets or seat cushions.
- Umbrella – must make sure it is secured from wind and not impeding other attendees views.
What You Cannot Bring
- No outside food, soda, or alcohol
- No dogs or animals of any kind; ADA-compliant service dogs only, must be leashed and under control – this is out of the safety of our animals.
- No drones
- No professional photography/video without a media pass and prior permission
Animals, Food & Other Info
- Do not approach the rodeo animals, especially bulls as they can be unpredictable.
- Look but don’t touch! Even horses can mistake your fingers for some tasty treats.
- Food is not included with your ticket and must be purchased separately
- Camping is not available for spectators and is reserved for contestants only.
